1st home game of the season for a " NEW " team in the division, and off the back of a 7-0 defeat to Salisbury in the opening game, Southampton Uni Ladies ( SULFC ) were looking for a big win today.

things got off to a good start as with in the 1st 20 minutes SULFC took a 1-0 lead, as Emily Micheson took on 3 players and the keeper to get us off the mark .5 minutes later we were given a penalty, and from the spot NEW signing Karleen benham got her 1st goal of the season.

2nd half was more of the same from SULFC and with in 10 minutes we were 3-0 up with another goal from karleen benham.

A mistake from the Winchester goalkeeper lead to the 4th goal as she could only hold onto the ball with 1 hand from a shot outside the area, captain zoe harfleet followed the ball in for an easy 2 yard tap in. 4-0

To round off a perfect home start to the season Karleen benham popped up again to get her hat-trick 5-0.

New signing karleen benham was on form today and to get her hat trick was amazing for her and the team.
